Objectives

To assess: 1) the effects of legacy and replacement PFAS exposure on gene expression; 2) the effects of PFAS on gene expression and metabolomics in diabetes cases and controls; 3) the overlap of effect pathways between human cell models and human cohorts using ‘omics.

Planned secondment(s):

KI (M27, 12w) for training on human health risk assessment.

VU (M20, 12w) for metabolomics training.

Visits to a wastewater treatment facility (Svenskt Vatten) (M12 after ATC3) and UFZ (after ATC6 in M24).
